The ZIDOO Z9X PRO media player is equipped with the new RTD1619BPD quad-core 64-bit high-performance processor. It offers HDMI 2.1 with 4K 60Hz point-to-point output and supports HDR (HDR10/HLG/HDR10+/Dolby Vision). With a 12-bit BT2020 color space and YCbCr 4:4:4 color space coverage, it enables accurate color reproduction. Additionally, it supports TrueHD audio passthrough.

The Z9X PRO's VS10 engine maps content to approximate Dolby Vision colors for a significant improvement in picture quality. The media player supports SATA hard drives (3.5/2.5-inch) with a capacity of up to 16 TB and allows playback of external BD/DVD (unencrypted) and CD discs.

The ZIDOO Z9X PRO's Home Theater 4.0 offers custom categories and management, movie trailer playback, and soundtrack playback. It also enables lossless music playback of DSD (SACD ISO, DSF, DFF), WAV, APE, DTS, etc. The newly upgraded music player supports lossless playback and decoding, as well as personalized settings and track data mapping.

The Z9X PRO supports DLNA, AirPlay and Spotify music streaming. The Android 11 operating system significantly improves system performance and stability. The processing of HDR10 static metadata (MaxFall, MaxCll) is more accurate, resulting in highlights and shadows being displayed with clear contrast.

In addition, the Z9X PRO supports the processing of HDR10+ Dynamic metadata. Dolby Vision technology enables both LLDV (player LED) and standard mode (TV LED) output. Automatic refresh rate of 23,976 and resolution ensure smooth movie playback without interruptions.

The media player supports BD/BD3D/UHD full Blu-ray menus and complex MPLS structure Blu-ray seamless branch playback. 3D video file formats such as MVC 3D (Blu-ray/MKV) are also supported. Special effects subtitles are available, subtitles can be downloaded online, and only Blu-ray and MKV forced subtitles are supported.

The Z9X PRO supports DRM Widevine L1, enabling HD quality for online video services. Support for network protocols such as NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3, UPnP and WebDAV, as well as built-in SMB services is present. In addition, standard WOL (Wake-on-LAN) features are available, with optional modes for power-on or standby.

The Z9X PRO integrates seamlessly into a smart home and supports HDMI-CEC, RS232 and Control 4, and the ZIDOO Controller APP (for iOS and Android) makes it easy to control the media player.
